• Facilitation of alliance across train operators, British Transport Police and social care providers to improve prevention and management of fatal incidents on the railway. Resulted in 38% reduction in fatalities through identification and support of people potentially at risk, greater cooperation across emergency services to enable faster resumption of train services in the event of fatalities thus reducing delays on the rail network and presented with the Outstanding Teamwork Award at the 2011 National Rail Awards.

  • Reorganisation, change management and development of Communications Directorate of Department of Health to improve internal service to Ministers, cross-government working and engagement with NHS whilst delivering budget and headcount savings.

  • Complete overhaul of strategy and structure of regional law firm including development of vision, values, competencies and behaviours and implementation of new appraisal system. Resulted in revitalising and repositioning through development of new customer-led business model, moving from third party paid-for referrals to inhouse direct marketing with significant business growth and development of national franchise.

  • Facilitation of relationship between Virgin and supplier/maintainer of its trains leading to improvements in reliability, performance, customer perception and passenger numbers

  • Supported MEBO of CEO and 5 equity directors in transition from public to private sector including developing new strategy, coaching, exit strategy, venture capital relationship management and recruitment of non-executive chairman.
